This book is probably the first and last book next to the Bible you will ever have to read to understand gratitude and its meaning. When I heard the author on the radio explain his book and belief in our Lord Jesus I felt compelled to buy and read this. I hope whoever reads this will find gratitude and understanding in what Mr. Hartzell conveys in his love for his family, friends and those of Ocean City!!

This was one of the most uplifting books I've read in years! Put so much into perspective for me about what is important going through life, and truly living life with gratitude. There are blessings everywhere and we just need to open our eyes to them. Highly highly recommend..

Why You Should Read This Book

An extremely readable expose, this book has meaningful life lessons for everyone. These can be applied for both inspiration and introspective personal benefits. Keith is brutally candid about his life experiences and his deep religious convictions. Taking advantage of his story can make readers more aware of how to live more satisfying lives, while positively touching others!
Keith Hartzell begins his memoir by explaining why he decided to write this book. After serving 16 years on the Ocean City council, he lost a close election for Mayor. Having more time, he began reminiscing with a friend about how much his family and the town of Ocean City meant to him. He was struck by how fortunate and grateful he felt for the life given to him by God. His friend suggested he write a book to share his stories and lessons learned.
All proceeds from book to benefit Tabernacle Baptist Church in Ocean City, NJ.
